Engineering Manager (Enterprise Solutions)

Role Overview

Join Ashby as an Engineering Manager (Enterprise Solutions). You will lead and grow a team of Solutions Engineers, scale the enterprise SE motion, and directly influence revenue, product direction, and customer value.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a high-performing team of Solutions Engineers
• Shape and scale the enterprise Solutions Engineering motion (process, efficiency, and effectiveness)
• Coach and develop Solutions Engineers through technical evaluations and mastery
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to translate enterprise field insights into roadmap input
• Partner closely with Enterprise Account Executives and stakeholders (e.g., CS, Product, Implementation)
• Build and refine enablement materials and frameworks used for enterprise deals
  • e.g., POC frameworks, RFP libraries, competitive playbooks, demo environments

Requirements

• Experience managing or mentoring Solutions Engineers in complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise SaaS sales motions
• Strong business and technical acumen; ability to connect product capabilities to measurable enterprise outcomes
• Strategic mindset for process, enablement, and operational excellence
• Clear communication skills; ability to simplify complex topics for security reviews and executive audiences
• Experience with enterprise recruiting/talent workflows, including familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
• Experience leading cross-functional projects in rapidly scaling organizations
• Experience building POC frameworks, value engineering models, or technical trial structures
• Background as a technical IC (SE, Solutions Architect, or similar) before moving into management
