Engineering Manager

Join Elation, a healthcare technology company, as an Engineering Manager. In this role, you will lead a team of engineers to design, build, and maintain products that align with business strategy and commercial goals. You will be involved in system design, development, and maintenance, as well as leading and coaching your team. You will also have the opportunity to ship your first AI-powered feature improvement to production and partner with Product and UX to scope and design new capabilities. Key missions: Lead a team of engineers in the design, development, and maintenance of products, ensuring alignment with business strategy and commercial goals.. Participate in code reviews, share knowledge with the team, and actively engage in shipping features to production.. Collaborate with Product and UX to scope and design new capabilities, and help shape the technical direction for AI-native product experiences. Profile: - If you’re excited about leading high-performing teams and building AI-powered tools that help doctors and patients, we want to hear from you — even if you don’t check every box below! - 5+ years of professional software development experience - Enthusiasm and interest in building systems using AI and large language models - Ability to communicate complex technical problems clearly to both technical and non-technical partners - Track record of leading high-performing teams that deliver high-quality software projects - Experience building APIs using modern backend technologies - 2+ years of experience managing a team - Knowledge of US healthcare industry and health tech - We’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive engineering team.
