Role overview
Engineering Manager to lead the team responsible for 300+ destination integrations in Hightouch’s marketing and customer data platform. This role blends people leadership with hands-on engineering to ensure the team delivers high-value improvements and maintains excellent technical execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor an engineering team focused on destination integrations.
- Drive prioritization of new destination requests and enhancements to existing integrations, balancing quick wins with long-term strategy.
- Improve sync speed and reliability when customers send large data volumes to destinations using diverse protocols (e.g., HTTP APIs, file transfers, data warehouses).
- Work on performance optimizations including parallelism, batching, rate-limit detection, and algorithmic improvements.
- Collaborate with customers and integration partners to solve new use cases.
- Raise the team’s technical bar and maintain focus on highest-value deliverables while shipping quickly.
- Explore how AI can increase developer productivity and quality.
