About the role

Role overview

Engineering Manager for a Data Platform in a newly formed Enterprise Data and AI Platform team at Saragossa. This is a greenfield build-from-scratch effort focused on creating reusable, self-service platform capabilities and core data engineering foundations that will scale the business.

Responsibilities

Lead and grow a small, high-impact team across platform engineering and data engineering
Own delivery and help shape the technical direction of the platform
Stay close to the technology to guide design decisions and support engineers day-to-day
Ensure the platform’s reliability, scalability, and ongoing evolution
Operate effectively in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment

Requirements

Strong foundation in cloud infrastructure on Azure
Experience with Infrastructure as Code
Practical CI/CD experience
Working knowledge of data engineering tooling such as Databricks and Spark
Ability to lead from the front while building both the team and the platform
US work authorization required (no sponsorship)

Compensation & location

Fully remote within the US
Up to $200k base salary + bonus + equity
