About the role

Role overview

Engineering Manager for the Enterprise Data & AI Platform team (fully remote within the US). You will lead a small, high-impact team building a centralized, greenfield data platform end-to-end—focusing on reliability, scalability, and long-term evolution.

Responsibilities

Lead from the front: own delivery, shape technical direction, and develop the team
Build and evolve the platform architecture with guidance on design decisions
Partner with engineers to support day-to-day execution
Establish reusable, self-service platform tooling (platform engineering principles)
Own core data engineering capabilities such as pipelines, modeling, and analytics
Ensure platform reliability and scalability in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment

Requirements

Strong cloud infrastructure foundation on Azure
Infrastructure as Code experience
CI/CD practices
Working knowledge of data engineering tools such as Databricks and Spark
Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity while building both the team and the platform
US authorization to work without sponsorship (US citizen or Green card holder)

Nice-to-haves

Experience leading platform and data engineering teams in greenfield environments
