About the role

Role Overview

Join ClickUp as an Engineering Manager to lead a full-stack team building and scaling ClickUp’s flagship productivity products. You’ll provide technical leadership, manage and mentor engineers, and drive feature development with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.

Provide practical technical guidance to the team, ensuring best practices in software development, architecture, and design.
Lead, coach, and develop engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Drive development of new features and enhancements with high performance, scalability, and reliability.

Requirements

7+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
Experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure.
Proficiency in a modern programming language, Node.js preferred.
Experience with relational databases.
Experience with at least one modern frontend framework.
Proven track record managing and scaling engineering teams.
Strong ability to mentor and grow technical talent.
Ability to handle complex technical challenges and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent experience).
