Engineering Manager

Role Overview

Lead the Developer Services engineering team and take ownership of critical service-layer infrastructure. You will shape the reliability, usability, and evolution of the CRE Service Layer and related developer-facing infrastructure, directly influencing how quickly new capabilities reach the ecosystem.

Key Missions

• Lead and grow the Developer Services engineering team while ensuring continuity of delivery.
• Harden reliability and improve operational resilience of the CRE Service Layer in the first 6–12 months.
• Establish and manage a single, prioritized engineering backlog across stakeholders and cross-functional inputs.
• Accelerate iteration cycles using user feedback, and deliver new capabilities.
• Lead migration of legacy products to newer platforms.

Responsibilities

• Guide architectural discussions with sufficient technical depth to unblock teams and maintain high engineering standards.
• Partner with product leadership to provide strong product judgment in ambiguous, high-stakes environments.
• Plan and execute multi-stream initiatives with clear accountability and measurable delivery outcomes.
• Coach engineers on performance growth and career progression.
• Operate autonomously in fast-paced, high-demand environments while managing stakeholder expectations.

Requirements

• Technical depth to drive architecture, unblock teams, and uphold engineering standards.
• People leadership experience, including managing and developing senior and staff-level engineers.
• Track record planning and executing multi-stream engineering programs with delivery outcomes.
• Experience managing complex backlogs and stakeholder expectations across multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated experience launching products/platforms 0 → 1.
• Strong project/program management discipline.
• Professional Web3 experience or deep engagement as a power user within the ecosystem.
