Role Overview

Engineering Manager, Blockchain/GenAI (Hands-on, Full-Stack)

KANINI is seeking an experienced, proactive Engineering Manager to lead end-to-end engineering delivery in a new GenAI/Blockchain solutions segment. The role focuses on scaling blockchain adoption/onboarding/automation, along with data ingestion, software validation, and audit workflows.

US Remote (preferred: EST & CST time zones)
Contract / Contract-to-Hire

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end delivery for blockchain onboarding and platform enhancements across multiple networks, tokens, and stablecoins
Design and drive AI/automation engineering decisions for scalable onboarding, data ingestion, validation, and audit workflows
Maintain and prioritize a backlog-driven onboarding model for continuous network onboarding
Ensure data quality, reliability, and audit readiness across supported blockchain integrations
Lead sprint planning, execution, and release delivery using Agile practices
Provide hands-on engineering/architecture across UI, API, data, and cloud layers
Establish and enforce engineering best practices: code quality, testing, and validation standards
Drive performance optimization, scalability, and reusable component design
Oversee production stability, including incident management and root cause analysis
Guide engineering teams to improve technical capability and delivery maturity
Apply AI-based automation to validate onboarding workflows, ensuring end-to-end testing of data ingestion, transaction processing, and audit outputs

Required Qualifications

Strong full-stack engineering background: React/Angular, .NET, APIs, Azure SQL, Azure Kubernetes Services
Proven experience building and scaling data-intensive/distributed systems
Familiarity with blockchain concepts: nodes, transactions, APIs, explorers
Experience with GenAI to automate data ingestion, validation, and processing pipelines
Strong cloud knowledge (preferably Azure)
Expertise in API design, microservices, and scalable architecture
Experience in Agile delivery and engineering leadership
Strong stakeholder management and decision-making
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
Familiarity with GenAI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot

Nice to Have

Experience with modern workflow testing/validation frameworks such as Playwright
