Engineering Manager

Role overview

As an Engineering Manager at Abridge, you will lead a team of engineers, drive execution across the platform organization, and ensure the reliability and scalability of systems that impact customers.

Key missions

• Own delivery of platform initiatives across:
  • Cloud infrastructure
  • Developer platform
  • CI/CD systems
• Lead and grow a team of engineers by translating strategic priorities into execution and maintaining reliability and scalability.
• Partner with leadership to scale the team through:
  • Hiring
  • Onboarding support
  • Creating an environment where engineers can do their best work.

Requirements

• Engineering management experience (3+ years) in fast-growing organizations.
• Strong execution mindset: ability to scope, prioritize, and deliver.
• Experience with containerized environments and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with modern infrastructure tooling such as:
  • ArgoCD
  • Istio
  • Atmos
• Comfortable working hands-on with technical systems, including architecture and design discussions.
• Experience with production systems in public cloud environments (e.g., AWS or GCP).
• Experience across platform domains: cloud infrastructure, developer platforms, and CI/CD.
• Strong communication and collaboration, including with security.
