About the role

Role Overview

Engineering Intern focused on Document Verification (DocV) and device signals to improve fraud detection and decision-making.

Responsibilities

Collect and analyze behavioral and device signals to enhance fraud detection systems.
Develop detection/scoring logic and deliver a working proof-of-concept with measurable metrics.
Map integration points and produce technical documentation and presentations.
Perform data instrumentation and collection, signal analysis, feature engineering, detection prototyping, and integration.

Requirements

Ability to work through ambiguity and iterate quickly.
Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
Experience with data analysis and/or ML concepts.
Strong communication skills.
Understanding of APIs and backend systems.
Exposure to fraud/identity/security domains.
Experience with behavioral or event-based data.
Familiarity with dashboards or data visualization.

Nice-to-haves

Experience with Go, Python, or Java.
Familiarity with SQL and Spark or other large-scale data tooling.
