Ecommerce Delivery Manager

Role: Ecommerce Delivery Manager

Join a small remote engineering/e-commerce team to help ensure successful client ecommerce deployments, with a preference for candidates based in the New York City area.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate deployment schedules for client ecommerce projects
• Oversee QA processes and testing procedures
• Create and maintain deployment documentation and procedures
• Coordinate with development teams to ensure smooth releases
• Monitor post-deployment performance and troubleshoot issues
• Communicate with team members, stakeholders, and clients
• Run weekly deployment planning meetings and provide status updates
• Occasional in-person meetings for NYC-based team members

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in ecommerce project delivery (or related role)
• Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms, especially Shopify
• Experience with deployment and testing methodologies
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Jira (and Confluence)
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational skills, and stakeholder communication

Contract / Work Model

• Full-time or part-time opportunity
• 6 to 12 month contract
• Flexible remote work environment; occasional NYC in-person for NYC-based team members
