Role Overview

E T Consultant – Agile Coach (Job #: req37994) within the World Bank Group’s Information and Technology Solutions (ITS) Transformation Management function.

Responsibilities

Agile ways of working enablement & delivery coaching

  • Coach teams and leaders across ITS to adopt and strengthen Agile practices, including Scrum, Kanban, and other fit-for-purpose frameworks.
  • Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and leadership discussions to clarify goals, improve collaboration, and accelerate delivery.
  • Support teams with backlog management, prioritization, and flow practices to improve transparency and predictability.
  • Identify delivery bottlenecks, coordination challenges, and workflow inefficiencies; implement practical improvements.
  • Promote continuous improvement through reflection on outcomes and evolving team practices.

Team formation, collaboration & ownership clarity

  • Help teams define clear roles, responsibilities, and ownership models to improve accountability and reduce day-to-day friction.
  • Improve cross-functional collaboration and reduce handoffs that slow delivery.
  • Facilitate structured discussions to align on ways of working, priorities, and expectations.
