Documentation & Materials Compliance Specialist

Role Overview

Documentation & Materials Compliance Specialist supporting a project to review and document packaging materials used in manufacturing and shipping. The work includes tracing materials back to documentation sources and collecting material composition data (including heavy metals) with supplier coordination.

Location & Duration

• Remote with 1 week onsite at the project start
• 6–8 months duration, possible extension

Responsibilities

• Review production documentation, BOMs (Bills of Materials), and specification sheets
• Trace packaging materials and compile material composition data
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain chemical/material information (including heavy metals)
• Maintain accurate records using electronic document management systems
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to support project needs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biologics, Life Sciences, or related field
• 5+ years experience in manufacturing/engineering/biologics/pharmaceutical environments
• Experience with production documentation and material traceability
• Ability to read and interpret BOMs and specification sheets
• Experience using electronic document management systems
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and product documentation
• Strong communication, organizational, and project coordination skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with packaging materials or material compliance
• Experience in pharmaceutical/biologics/medical device manufacturing
