About the role
Role Overview
The AIM team is seeking a Django Developer to build and maintain robust, scalable web applications. You’ll collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver product enhancements aligned with business goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain web-based applications using Django and JavaScript frameworks
- Design and implement new product features and improvements
- Debug and resolve issues across the full stack
- Help organize and document requirements with business stakeholders
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and development planning
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Admin, Support) to refine feature requirements
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines and data transformations for Power BI reporting
- Develop integrations with external systems (e.g., ERP, email, data APIs)
- Contribute to improving system performance, scalability, and reliability
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with Django and Python (backend)
- 2+ years of experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (preferably Vue.js)
- Must be in the Pacific Time Zone or Mountain Time Zone
- Proficiency with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Solid understanding of full-stack architecture and deployment
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
