Django Developer

Role Overview

The AIM team is seeking a Django Developer to build and maintain robust, scalable web applications. You’ll collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver product enhancements aligned with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain web-based applications using Django and JavaScript frameworks
• Design and implement new product features and improvements
• Debug and resolve issues across the full stack
• Help organize and document requirements with business stakeholders
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and development planning
• Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Admin, Support) to refine feature requirements
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines and data transformations for Power BI reporting
• Develop integrations with external systems (e.g., ERP, email, data APIs)
• Contribute to improving system performance, scalability, and reliability

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with Django and Python (backend)
• 2+ years of experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (preferably Vue.js)
• Must be in the Pacific Time Zone or Mountain Time Zone
• Proficiency with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Solid understanding of full-stack architecture and deployment
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
