Django Developer

Role Overview

Join AIM’s growing development team as a Django Developer. You’ll build and maintain robust web applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help deliver scalable, user-centric solutions aligned with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Django and JavaScript frameworks
• Design and implement new product features and enhancements
• Debug and resolve issues across the full stack
• Help organize and document requirements from business stakeholders
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and development planning
• Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Admin, Support) to refine feature requirements
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines and data transformations for Power BI reporting
• Develop integrations with external systems (e.g., ERP, email, and data APIs)
• Contribute to improvements in system performance, scalability, and reliability

Requirements

• 2+ years experience with Django and Python (backend)
• 2+ years experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (preferably Vue.js)
• Proficiency with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrations
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Strong understanding of full-stack architecture and deployment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have / Additional Context

• Experience related to ETL and Power BI reporting
• Experience integrating with external systems such as ERP platforms
