About the role
Role Overview
Join AIM’s growing development team as a Django Developer. You’ll build and maintain robust web applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help deliver scalable, user-centric solutions aligned with business goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Django and JavaScript frameworks
- Design and implement new product features and enhancements
- Debug and resolve issues across the full stack
- Help organize and document requirements from business stakeholders
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and development planning
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Admin, Support) to refine feature requirements
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines and data transformations for Power BI reporting
- Develop integrations with external systems (e.g., ERP, email, and data APIs)
- Contribute to improvements in system performance, scalability, and reliability
Requirements
- 2+ years experience with Django and Python (backend)
- 2+ years experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (preferably Vue.js)
- Proficiency with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrations
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Strong understanding of full-stack architecture and deployment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Nice to Have / Additional Context
- Experience related to ETL and Power BI reporting
- Experience integrating with external systems such as ERP platforms
