About the role
Role Overview
District Manager, Licensed Stores (Remote) You will support a regional portfolio of company-owned, licensed/franchised convenience stores by building strong working relationships with licensees and ensuring consistent brand performance. This role includes frequent local travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with licensees running convenience stores
- Ensure brand standards are upheld
- Partner with licensees on:
- Pricing and sales strategy
- Credit and promotions
- Marketing programs and loyalty program initiatives
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, and act as a liaison between licensees and company headquarters
- Conduct regular licensee meetings focused on training, marketing, and sales
- Lead Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews and provide feedback/action items
- Respond to customer issues/complaints and follow through to resolution
- Help drive achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual goals
- Participate in the Monthly Business Review process
- Manage expenses within approved budgets
- Provide price counseling to maximize sales potential
Requirements / Background Profile
- Proven success in a similar role working with licensees/franchisees in convenience stores or quick-service restaurants
- Knowledge of fuels marketing and convenience store business functions
- Strong time management, planning, and organization
- Ability to learn and use basic computer programs
- 75% travel within the region (Southern Tennessee to Northern Alabama)
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with loyalty/marketing execution in a multi-store licensed environment (implied by responsibilities)
