About the role

Role Overview

As Director of Systems Delivery, you will build and lead the function responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of Quantum Motion’s full-stack silicon quantum systems—from programme planning through build, integration, commissioning, acceptance testing, and handover.

Key Priorities

Establish delivery playbooks, acceptance protocols, and customer site infrastructure readiness.
Synchronize silicon bring-up efforts with agile software development.
Drive cross-functional alignment across hardware, software, systems integration, and operations.

Responsibilities

Full-Stack System Execution: Lead internal full-stack deployments bridging physical hardware with full-stack software from assembly through customer handover.
Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate hardware build schedules with software release cycles; manage dependencies and trade-offs across teams.
Site Infrastructure Readiness: Oversee preparation of internal and customer environments so they are deployment-ready.
Acceptance Testing & Governance: Implement delivery schedules, risk management, and formal acceptance testing protocols.
Service & Operational Handoff: Define post-installation support, handover processes, and field engineering workflows to ensure long-term uptime.
Process Standardisation: Create scalable playbooks, quality standards, and repeatable processes for integration, validation, and operational readiness.
Supply Chain Management: Own technical procurement, manage vendor relationships, and ensure supplier performance against delivery timelines.

Requirements

Direct hardware experience in silicon, semiconductor, or advanced physical instrumentation (mandatory).
Strong understanding of physical build constraints, microelectronics/systems integration, and environmental facility requirements.
Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams to deploy first-of-a-kind deep-tech systems into field environments.

Nice-to-haves

Experience delivering deep-tech systems across hardware/software boundaries (implied by full-stack and integration focus).
