About the role

Role: Director of Revenue Cycle

Location: Remote (20% travel required) Schedule: Days | Full-time Compensation: $138,258.29 – $195,187.61 per year (eligible for an annual bonus incentive)

How you’ll make an impact

  • Provide strategic, nationwide oversight of the end-to-end revenue cycle infrastructure across all Ascension markets.
  • Lead revenue cycle policies and procedures, leveraging a strong ambulatory background to drive immediate operational impact.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership; build cross-departmental relationships and apply judgment on non-viable initiatives.
  • Oversee departmental budgets and revenue valuation, using analytical tools to improve operations and enable robust forecasting.

Minimum requirements

  • Preferred credential: Accountant (licensure/certification relevant to the state of work is required).
  • Education & experience:
    • High school diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable experience, including 2 years in leadership/management; OR
    • Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of applicable experience, including 2 years in leadership/management.

Additional preferences

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration and/or Business.
  • 3+ years in healthcare revenue cycle operations.
  • 3–5 years of leadership/management experience.
