Director of Product (Platform)

Role Overview

Join Higharc as the Director of Product (Platform) to lead a major pillar of the Product organization. You’ll define the vision, strategy, and execution for the central platform experience that powers the design and construction process.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the platform vision, strategy, and execution for the core experience.
• Own the product vision and roadmap, including end-to-end workflows from design through construction documents.
• Build, manage, and develop a strong team of product managers; coach and elevate product thinking and delivery standards.
• Partner closely with Engineering and Design leadership to ensure effective, scalable, intuitive, cohesive, and high-quality experiences.
• Translate complex platform challenges into clear product direction, roadmaps, and execution plans.
• Lead cross-functional delivery across Product, Engineering, Design, and other partners in fast-moving environments.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience, including leading complex product areas/teams.
• 4+ years of people management experience (coaching and developing product managers).
• Systems-oriented product leadership; connect technical architecture, customer workflows, and business goals.
• Strong ability to operate in ambiguity and turn broad problem spaces into focused roadmaps and plans.
• Strong communication skills to align stakeholders and drive decisions at both strategic and tactical levels.
• Proven track record shipping platform/workflow/systems products with meaningful customer and business impact.

Nice to Have

• Experience in architecture, construction technology, design tools, or homebuilding software.
• Familiarity with 3D workflows and CAD/BIM-style systems, configurators, or construction document generation.
• Experience with APIs, integrations, platform strategy, or AI-enabled product experiences.
• Track record scaling services with high data loads.
