Director of Product Management (Operations)

Role Overview

As Director of Product Management (Operations), you will lead Flock’s internal field operations product suite. You will turn field friction into automated, high-performing product software by aligning product strategy and execution across Operations, Engineering, AI/Data Science, and Applications.

Key Missions

• Lead product strategy and execution for the internal software suite supporting field deployment, camera installations, and permitting workflows.
• Direct a team of Product Managers focused on internal operational tooling, portfolio tradeoffs, and roadmap decisions.
• Partner with Operations executives to convert field deployment bottlenecks into scalable capabilities, workflow optimizations, and AI automation.

Responsibilities

• Establish clear product engagement frameworks.
• Lead technical tradeoff discussions and contribute to system/architecture reasoning alongside Engineering and AI/Data Science.
• Own internal tools, operational systems, or technical platform product outcomes.
• Redesign complex workflows and drive automation to improve operational scale and execution quality.
• Grow and mentor product management talent while staying close to execution details.

Requirements

• Experience collaborating on technical tradeoffs and system architecture with Engineering, AI, and Data Science teams.
• Strong product judgment and ability to operate in high-dependency environments while earning trust from executive stakeholders.
• Proven track record leading Product Managers and owning internal tools/operational or technical platform products.
• Practical capability to redesign complex workflows and deliver automation.
• Demonstrated ability to build high-performing product management teams grounded in delivery.
