Director of Product Management (Internal AI Product Strategy & Ops)

Role Overview

As Director of Product Management for Internal AI Product Strategy & Operations, you will lead Aledade’s internal AI strategy and operating model. You’ll partner with internal product, technology, engineering, and data teams to define internal AI capabilities, governance standards, and measure investment impact.

Key Missions

• Own internal AI strategy and operating model: decide which internal AI capabilities to invest in and which to retire.
• Set product direction for the internal knowledge/context layer and a library of reusable skills, agents, and workflows.
• Partner with engineering and data to prioritize and deliver internal AI capabilities.
• Establish standards, governance, and trust model with security, legal, and the AI Governance Committee to ensure safe, clear guardrails for employee use.
• Measure impact of internal AI investment over time.

Requirements

• High fluency with modern AI tools, with a clear point of view on their trajectory and implications for the internal operating model.
• 12+ years experience; 15+ years for Senior Director-level. Includes ownership of a strategic program or internal function.
• Demonstrated track record setting strategy and running operations for a company-wide capability over time.
• Evidence of cross-department collaboration, including working with governance, security, or legal to deliver durable outcomes.
• Familiarity with AI assistants and coding agents, internal knowledge/search platforms, or skill/plugin ecosystems.
• Experience owning an internal platform operating model with multiple stakeholder teams.
• Experience partnering with security/legal/governance on responsible AI use.
• Background in healthcare or another regulated industry.
