Role Overview

Director of Product (Growth) at Mudflap, leading product discovery, definition, and delivery of new product lines in payments and fuel acquisition.

Responsibilities

  • Own product roadmaps and lead discovery-to-delivery for growth initiatives, making complex trade-offs focused on business impact.
  • Champion customer empathy through strong user understanding and user research.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment with teams including Engineering, Data Science, Operations, Marketing, and business partners.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to measure performance and guide decisions.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of product managers and foster an inclusive culture.
  • Present insights and progress to executive leadership and external partners.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record launching products that deliver tangible business outcomes (e.g., revenue growth, retention).
  • Strong understanding of customer needs and excellent user research skills.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking; ability to translate data and insights into actionable roadmaps.
  • Leadership and mentoring experience, promoting inclusive and high-performing culture.

Nice-to-Haves (Preferred)

  • Experience in fintech, payments, marketplaces, or logistics—ideally building for small businesses or independent operators.
