Director of Product (Gaming, New Products)

Role overview

Director of Product Management responsible for launching new products from the ground up, with a focus on the gaming market. You will lead a team of design and engineering resources, define the product vision and strategy for a new product area, and build expertise in the PC gaming ecosystem.

Key missions

• Develop a deep understanding of the PC gaming market: ecosystems, distribution models, audience segmentation, and monetization patterns.
• Lead vision and strategy for a new product domain, ensuring high-quality execution aligned with Mozilla’s strengths.
• Define and own product metrics to measure performance, validate strategic decisions, and prioritize the product roadmap.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience with a successful track record.
• 5+ years working in and around the video gaming industry, with familiarity with PC/desktop gaming ecosystems, platforms, and audiences.
• Ability to represent the product externally through thought leadership (e.g., podcasts, conferences, and other channels).
• Strong product analytics/measurement skills: define and own product metrics to guide roadmap and strategy.
• 5+ years managing cross-disciplinary teams with demonstrated people leadership.
• Passion or long-term interest in gaming.
• Proven experience building and scaling early-stage products: using customer and market insights, reaching product-market fit, and driving growth.

• Strong understanding of public-facing storytelling and external stakeholder communication around product strategy.
