About the role

Role Overview

Join Limble CMMS as the Director of Product Design. You will lead and scale the UX function, partner with the VP of Product to drive product adoption, and represent the voice of the user at leadership level.

Responsibilities

Lead and scale UX: increase design maturity and embed data-driven practices across the UX function.
Mentor and grow the team: manage a multi-functional design team and build a high-performance design culture (craft, curiosity, user empathy).
Strategic UX partnership: contribute to roadmap prioritization and product vision, ensuring UX is embedded into product strategy.
Cross-functional collaboration: work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, CS, and Support.
AI integration: explore and apply AI tools to accelerate the design process.
Own content functions: oversee technical writing and in-app content (e.g., onboarding/guide-related content).

Requirements

7+ years of UX leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
Pendo expertise: hands-on experience translating behavioral data into design decisions.
Proven ability to scale UX in a B2B SaaS environment.
Strong communication and storytelling to align stakeholders and advocate for UX investment.
Familiarity with instructional design and in-app onboarding/guide best practices.
Experience using AI tools in the design workflow.
Demonstrated experience building, maturing, and maintaining a design system.

Nice-to-Haves

Experience with design system governance and maintenance (explicitly mentioned as part of AI/leadership fit).
