Director of Product Design, Frontend Technologies, Marketplace Technologies

Role overview

As Director of Product Design for the Frontend Technologies domain, you’ll set the foundation for high-quality experiences across Vinted’s user interface. You’ll work alongside Engineering and Data Science partners to improve the global UI quality for tens of millions of members, balancing developer velocity with an exceptional end-user experience.

Responsibilities

• Improve frontend delivery efficiency and quality, including AI-powered software development initiatives
• Increase the quality and delivery efficiency of internal tools
• Ensure Vinted services comply with accessibility regulations
• Increase the impactfulness and quality of Vinted’s UI
• Lead and maintain a high-performing, engaged team, making timely, high-quality decisions on priority setting and resource allocation

Requirements

• Strong craft leadership with a consistently high bar for end-to-end quality; own and autonomously set the product’s visual strategy
• Proven experience leading design infrastructure, design systems, and frontend technologies at scale
• Track record of driving organizational change and adapting team structures/processes to business needs
• Experience managing multiple teams or a domain, coaching both managers and senior individual contributors
• Excellent communication skills; can articulate complex design and technical trade-offs to cross-functional stakeholders
