About the role

Role Overview

Lead the Industrial Engineering team at Cart.com to improve and scale fulfillment operations. You will oversee integration of new technologies and processes, ensure successful client/partner onboarding, and drive efficiency, scalability, and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the industrial engineering team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, IT, Client Services) to design and execute implementation strategies aligned to business goals.
  • Evaluate fulfillment processes and identify improvements, streamlining, and automation opportunities.
  • Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and budgets for technology and process implementations.
  • Oversee testing, validation, and troubleshooting of new systems to ensure seamless integration.
  • Analyze data and performance metrics to identify trends and recommend solutions for optimization.
  • Work with clients and partners to understand requirements, address concerns, and ensure smooth onboarding.
  • Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovations.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Experience leading industrial engineering functions and/or managing an engineering/operations improvement team.
  • Ability to collaborate across operations, IT, and customer-facing teams.
  • Strong analytical skills using performance metrics to drive decisions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience integrating new fulfillment-related technologies and processes.
  • Familiarity with warehouse/fulfillment operations and onboarding logistics.
