About the role

Join Amplify's People team as the Director of Equity and Compensation. In this critical role, you will design, administer, and communicate Amplify's short- and long-term compensation incentive plans. You will have the opportunity to be part of an innovative people strategy that is redefining how we attract and reward high-performing talent. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of progressive experience in broad-based compensation, strong analytical and quantitative skills, and a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Key missions: Design, administer, and communicate Amplify’s short- and long-term compensation incentive plans.. Develop and redefine short- and long-term incentive and equity plans, balancing data with cultural nuances.. Partner with Legal and Finance to ensure effective plan administration and participant communications. Profile: - Ideal candidates will have experience in compensation benchmarking, preparing materials for the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors, and leading communication plans. This role requires a high degree of analytical skill, close attention to detail, and absolute discretion - You recognize that compensation is deeply personal for employees. You are able to balance technical IQ with the emotional intelligence necessary to communicate complex decisions effectively across the organization - You can model and analyze various compensation-plan designs to develop options and a recommended approach - You have a proven track record of contributing to market analyses of company jobs to determine the competitive positioning of the organization's pay programs - You can operate independently, taking concepts and filling in the details to bring them to life through design, implementation, and change management - You are adept at translating strategic direction into an achievable roadmap - Experience in a publicly traded company - 8+ years of progressive experience in broad-based compensation, including at least 4 years of direct experience in short- and long-term incentive plan administration plus at least 5 years in progressive leadership roles - Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, complex modeling) - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clear - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field - Familiarity with equity-administration platforms (e.g., ETRADE, Solium/Shareworks, Carta) - Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation
