About the role
Role Overview
Instacart is hiring a Director of Enterprise Product Marketing (B2B) to lead the go-to-market strategy for its enterprise platform. You’ll build a differentiated market presence, grow the sales pipeline through integrated campaigns, and help establish global market entry foundations.
Key Missions
- Own a unified go-to-market strategy for Instacart’s enterprise platform, ensuring alignment across Product, Business Development, and Customer Success.
- Develop thought leadership narratives and run multi-channel campaigns to drive awareness and differentiated positioning.
- Lead and mentor a product marketing team, integrating them into the commercial organization and supporting their growth.
Responsibilities (What success looks like)
- Translate complex enterprise/grocery technology into messaging that resonates with grocery executives.
- Deliver full-scale B2B campaigns that generate qualified leads.
- Manage multiple high-stakes projects, prioritize effectively, and influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
Requirements
- 10+ years of B2B marketing experience at a SaaS company, with ownership of product marketing across multiple product lines.
- Proven ability to build and execute multi-channel B2B campaigns for awareness and qualified lead generation.
- Strong experience in positioning, messaging frameworks, and thought leadership that support sales enablement.
- People management experience: hiring, coaching, and growing marketing teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to distill complex technical topics for senior audiences including the C-suite.
- Proficiency with Google Slides and comfort with basic marketing analytics.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity, work cross-functionally, and operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience marketing to retailers/grocery audiences, including familiarity with their business challenges and buying cycles.
- Technical proficiency to partner effectively with product and engineering teams.

- Experience in a high-growth startup/scale-up environment.
- Familiarity marketing across a range of customer sizes (enterprise to SMBs).
