About the role

Role Overview

Director of Business Development at NeuroPraxis. This is a full-time, remote role focused on driving growth and building strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead new business initiatives and manage the business development pipeline
  • Identify, cultivate, and develop referral sources
  • Build relationships with healthcare providers, payers, case managers, and community organizations
  • Oversee lead generation activities and coordinate outreach campaigns to increase awareness
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on business plans, market opportunity assessment, and growth forecasting
  • Guide contract negotiations and support key account management
  • Use client and partner feedback to refine service offerings while ensuring alignment with the mission of client-centered rehabilitation

Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in new business development and lead generation
  • Strong business planning skills (market analysis, strategic planning, growth forecasting)
  • Proficiency in contract negotiation and structuring agreements with healthcare organizations/payers
  • Solid account management skills to sustain long-term partner relationships
  • Healthcare, rehabilitation, or related experience; understanding TBI/SCI or complex care services preferred
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement across clinical, administrative, and community audiences
  • Proven leadership skills, including cross-functional collaboration and mentoring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or related field (advanced degree a plus)
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment

NeuroPraxis is California’s in-home and community-based rehabilitation provider for people with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and spinal cord injury (SCI). It delivers customized, interdisciplinary rehabilitation plans using innovative techniques and technology across therapies including in-home/community therapy, supported living, vestibular rehabilitation, and pain management.
