About the role

Role Overview

As Director of Analytics at Affirm, you will partner with Revenue segment leaders to shape strategy, drive accountability to key outcomes, and deliver high-quality insights that fuel top-line growth. You’ll lead a team, strengthen analytical capabilities, and identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve workflows and eliminate manual processes.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a strategic partner to Revenue segment leaders, shaping long-term strategy and ensuring delivery against key outcomes.
Lead the team in delivering insights and analytics to Revenue leadership, managing data requests across:
- Market sizing
- Business performance
Identify and implement opportunities for AI, automation, and tooling to:
- Improve team workflows
- Scale analytical capabilities
- Reduce or eliminate manual processes.
Own the strategic narrative for the segment, communicating data-backed insights to business and technical stakeholders.

Requirements

Proven track record advising senior/executive leadership, influencing decisions and driving change.
Strong organizational and execution discipline; independently drive strategic initiatives from ideation through measurable outcomes.
12+ years experience in strategy, operations, or analytics (ideally with management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or high-growth technology).
Leadership experience building, coaching, and scaling high-performing teams.
Excellent communication skills to craft compelling, data-backed narratives (including C-suite audiences).
Exceptional problem-solving: structure ambiguous, complex problems into clear frameworks and action plans.
Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools and identify automation opportunities.
Cross-functional collaboration experience with strong judgment and stakeholder trust-building.
Deep analytical fluency across SQL, Python/R, spreadsheets, and data visualization to interrogate data and generate insights.

Nice to Haves

Experience using AI coding/agent tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
