Join SEON as the Director of AI Engineering, where you will lead AI-driven innovation and engineering across all locations. You will spearhead the formation of an applied research group, set strategic direction for AI initiatives, and collaborate with other departments to integrate data-driven decision-making and AI capabilities across the organization. Key missions: Spearheading the formation of an applied research group and setting strategic direction for AI initiatives.. Leading the recruitment, development, and management of the AI engineering and applied AI research teams across all locations.. Overseeing the design, development, and management of robust, highly scalable, and compliant AI infrastructure and product capabilities. Profile: - Professional Experience: Proven experience in a leadership role within engineering or data science, preferably in a tech scaleup organization. Experience managing cross-locational teams is highly desirable - SaaS Experience: Track record of working on cloud-based SaaS products is required - Technical Expertise: Strong foundation in data science and machine learning methodologies, experience in designing and delivering large scale Generative AI applications in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is required - Identity Verification Experience: Experience building identity verification or KYC products is a strong plus - Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate data-driven insights and strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders - Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership abilities across multiple locations. Experience in hiring, mentoring, and developing high-performing engineering teams - Adaptability: Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment - Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving projects from concept through completion - Educational Background: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science or a related field - Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute a long-term AI strategy that aligns with business goals and drives innovation
