Role Overview
Director, Chief of Staff & Business Operations (US-Based)
Reporting directly to the CEO, this role combines Chief of Staff responsibilities with Business Operations leadership. You’ll be a trusted advisor and operational leader who helps the executive team stay aligned, decisions get executed, and the company focuses on highest-impact priorities.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the CEO:
- Serve as a strategic thought partner and advisor
- Drive strategic initiatives from concept through execution
- Support executive communications, Board materials, planning sessions, and company-wide priorities
- Keep the Executive Team aligned:
- Build the executive team’s operating cadence (e.g., meeting rhythm, Quarterly Business Reviews, annual planning, leadership off-sites)
- Translate decisions into clear action plans with ownership and accountability
- Surface risks, dependencies, and execution gaps early
- Build Business Operations systems:
- Create executive dashboards and KPI frameworks as a “source of truth”
- Improve visibility into revenue, profitability, customer health, operational performance, and strategic initiatives
- Lead business reviews and turn complex information into actionable recommendations
- Drive cross-functional execution:
- Lead initiatives across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Finance, Revenue, Customer Success, Marketing, Partnerships, People, and Operations
- Improve communication and collaboration, build scalable processes for growth, and remove execution friction
