About the role

Role Overview

Nordic Global is seeking a customer-centric Digital Product Owner to join its Digital Product Team. You will lead cross-functional teams through the full digital product lifecycle—from ideation to launch and optimization—while translating business needs into actionable requirements for technical delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the voice of the customer and the business, ensuring alignment between strategic goals and technical execution.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, customers, and product delivery teams.
  • Lead workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to elicit, analyze, validate, and prioritize business needs.
  • Create Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and translate them into product requirements.
  • Write user stories, define acceptance criteria, and document functional specifications to support estimation and development.
  • Validate requirements and priorities with customers before and during delivery.
  • Own and manage the product backlog, prioritizing based on customer value, business impact, technical effort, and strategic alignment.
  • Partner with designers, developers, and QA to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs and user experience goals.
  • Work with Agile delivery teams on sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management.
  • Lead and refine Agile ceremonies as needed.
  • Define and track product success metrics, supporting post-launch monitoring and optimization.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inform product strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 2–4 years experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in an Agile software development environment.
  • Experience leading digital product initiatives from concept through delivery and iteration.
  • Strong ability to facilitate customer discussions and translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience writing detailed user stories and managing complex backlogs using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps (or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Experience using automation for continuous improvement, including AI/machine learning.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Haves / Focus Areas

  • Direct facilitation with stakeholders in healthcare provider and shared services operations (as part of requirement elicitation and prioritization).
