About the role

Role Overview

Digital Experience / Web Applications Developer (5421) for a remote-first team working CST or EST time zones. You’ll build engaging, high-performing digital experiences across marketing sites and robust web applications while collaborating with designers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Convert design concepts, wireframes, and mockups into responsive, accessible, polished web experiences
Build user interfaces and web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks
Develop custom content- and application-driven solutions for business and user needs
Create reusable components/modules/tools to improve scalability and efficiency
Implement and maintain custom functionality for unique project requirements
Integrate third-party systems via APIs (e.g., CRM, analytics, eCommerce, mapping)
Build API-driven experiences and contribute to modern architecture initiatives
Optimize performance, accessibility, and search visibility (SEO)
Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards/best practices
Troubleshoot technical issues across multiple concurrent projects

Required Experience / Skills

3+ years professional web development experience
Strong HTML and CSS (SASS/SCSS)
Strong modern JavaScript (ES6+)
Experience with React or Vue (component-based frameworks)
Ability to build custom content-driven web solutions
Strong experience with REST API integration and consumption
Knowledge of Git (version control)
Strong debugging/troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Experience with headless or API-first architectures
Mobile application development experience
Performance optimization expertise
Security and caching optimization experience
Strong understanding of WCAG accessibility standards
Experience with Tailwind CSS or other utility-first CSS frameworks
Agency experience managing multiple concurrent projects
Advanced third-party API integration experience

Team & Reporting

Works with UX/UI Designers, application developers, project managers, and technical leads across cross-functional delivery teams
Reports to Development Leadership / Technical Lead

100% remote (must be in CST or EST time zones)
