About the role

Role Overview

Franki is hiring a Digital Designer to shape the future of its product and brand. The role is highly collaborative, partnering with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and the Head of Design to deliver thoughtful, engaging, and beautifully crafted experiences across mobile and web.

What You’ll Do

Design intuitive, user-centered experiences for Franki’s mobile and web products
Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI from concept through launch
Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define and deliver user experiences for new features
Build and maintain scalable Figma component libraries and design systems
Create brand-supporting visual assets across product, marketing, and customer touchpoints
Design motion graphics, micro-interactions, and animations to enhance UX
Partner with Marketing on campaign, social, presentation, and promotional creative
Run design reviews, communicate design rationale, and collaborate with stakeholders
Establish design standards, workflows, and best practices to improve quality and consistency
Mentor junior/contract designers and help foster a collaborative design culture
Stay current on emerging trends, including AI-powered creative tools and evolving UX best practices

Requirements

4+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI, or digital design
Strong portfolio demonstrating product design, visual design, and interaction design
Advanced proficiency with Figma and component-based design systems
Experience designing consumer-facing mobile or web applications
Strong grasp of user-centered design, accessibility, responsive design, and information architecture
Experience working closely with Product Managers and Software Engineers across the product lifecycle
Strong visual communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
Ability to lead design projects with minimal direction

Marketplace/social/consumer mobile application experience
Startup or high-growth company experience
Motion design tools experience: After Effects, Lottie, Rive
Familiarity with AI-powered design tools and workflows
Brand system + marketing asset experience
Mentoring and/or contributions to design leadership
