Digital Agility Coach

Role Overview

Digital Agility Coach (Remote) Serves as a servant leader and coach for an Agile Team and supports the ART in delivering value. Helps teams mature their Agile practices using Agile and Scrum success patterns, and supports enterprise-wide adoption of SAFe.

Responsibilities

• Coach teams in self-organization and drive Agile maturity.
• Apply expert knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts, including:
  • Definition of Done
  • User story refinement
  • Automated testing
  • Backlog refinement
  • PI Planning support
• Facilitate impediment removal and foster a high-performing team environment.
• Support team conflict resolution, problem-solving, and decision-making.
• Use servant leadership (persuade rather than use authority).
• Build team transparency (keep information radiators updated).
• Train on methods beyond Scrum, including SAFe, Kanban, Flow, Built-in Quality, BDD, and others.
• Facilitate Iteration events: planning, sync, review, inspect work, and retrospective.
• Work within ART cadence for alignment, dependency management, Release on Demand, and fast integrated learning.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to maximize solution value.
• Establish and maintain a team Kanban board and improve flow.
• Measure and optimize flow/competency/outcome performance using OKR metrics.
• Coach Built-in Quality practices for fast, reliable execution.
• Foster Agile Team attributes: self-management, collective alignment, transparent communication, trust, and fun.
• Act as an effective Scrum Master/Team Coach and represent the team in ART events.
• Support PI-related practices (ensure no work is scheduled for the IP Iteration; support innovation, education, and I&A events).
• Support enterprise SAFe adoption by coaching stakeholders and non-agile teams; participate in CoPs and support SAFe SPC activities.
• Model Lean-Agile mindset and principles; help the team develop T-shaped skills; facilitate cross-team collaboration.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Scrum Master/Team Coach in a large enterprise.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of related work experience.
• Expert in: Jira Software, Confluence, FigJam, Jira Align, AgilityInsights.
• SAFe 6.0 Scrum Master Certification (Required).
• Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills.

• SAFe SASM 6.0, SAFe SPC 6.0, SAFe SA 6.0, SAFe RTE 6.0.
• CSM
