DFS Driver - Charlotte

Role Overview

Delivery Driver (DFS Driver) for local home improvement store deliveries in Charlotte, NC. The role involves driving a 26 ft. box truck to deliver large and bulky items while working independently.

Responsibilities

• Drive to local Home Improvement stores to load trucks, then deliver packages safely and on time in all weather conditions.
• Operate a company-provided handheld device to manage and confirm deliveries.
• Complete 15–20 deliveries per day and work approximately 8–10 hours per day.
• Maintain professionalism while communicating with customers and store associates.
• Be flexible with varying schedules, including every Saturday.

Requirements

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past 7 years.
• Ability to operate a 26 ft. box truck.
• 2+ years of recent, verifiable box truck driving experience.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Pass pre-employment screenings, including DOT physical exams and a drug test.
