About the role

Role Overview

DevTest Engineer (Sr / DevTest SME) implementing and supporting service virtualization using Broadcom DevTest (v10.9.x). You will collaborate with stakeholders to create virtual services from real-world requests, troubleshoot issues, and help drive adoption across teams.

Responsibilities

Day 1 / Immediate
- Build and configure Broadcom DevTest virtual services from incoming requests and requirements
- Analyze service dependencies and translate requirements into functional virtual service models
- Perform basic validation to ensure performance and reliability expectations
Ongoing / Frequent
- Work with stakeholders to refine service virtualization use cases
- Provide end-user guidance on when/how to use service virtualization
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within DevTest environments
Advanced / As Work Progresses
- Engage Broadcom vendor support for complex technical issues/limitations
- Enhance and optimize virtual services with custom scripting and automation
- Contribute to best practices, documentation, and scaling adoption

Requirements (Must Have)

5–8 years of experience
Broadcom DevTest (v10.9.x or similar) with hands-on building and maintenance of virtual services
Strong understanding of service virtualization concepts
Windows Server (2019/2022) environment experience (setup, configuration, troubleshooting)
Custom scripting: Java and/or JavaScript to extend DevTest and automate behavior

Nice to Have

OpenShift and familiarity with containerized environments and deployment pipelines

Soft Skills

Ability to gather/clarify technical and business requirements
Communicate complex concepts in clear, non-technical language
Strong stakeholder alignment and problem-solving across teams (including vendors)

Interview Process

One virtual 30-minute panel interview
One virtual 30–45 minute technical panel interview
