About the role

Role Overview

Optomi is hiring a DevSecOps Engineer (fully remote, working Eastern Time) to support an AI/ML platform development team. This role focuses on security within AI/ML platforms, strengthening the security posture of ML pipelines, infrastructure, and deployments.

Responsibilities

Secure ML pipelines and infrastructure for AI/ML platform workloads
Deploy and manage ML models as part of MLOps operations
Implement MLOps practices to support reliable model deployment
Enhance the security posture of AI/ML platforms
Collaborate on strategic initiatives driving project success

Requirements

7–8 years of industry experience
Strong Kubernetes (K8s) background
Experience with EKS (AWS Kubernetes)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Experience with ML model deployment

Nice to Haves

Databricks preferred
Snowflake or similar technologies acceptable
Conceptual knowledge of monitoring tools

Contract & Location

Title: DevSecOps Engineer
Type: 6-month contract with potential extension/conversion
Location: Fully remote, Eastern Time working hours
Pay rate: $50–$60/hour
