About the role
DevSecOps Engineer (Remote)
Join Conviso Inc.’s Platform Engineering team responsible for operating Kubernetes clusters on OCI and the supporting developer tooling for 200+ applications.
Responsibilities
- Handle operational incidents (e.g., application outages, RKE2/Kubernetes issues) and provide migration support as workloads move from on-prem to OCI
- Build and automate GitLab CI/CD pipelines for deploying and testing new versions across supported tools and base images
- Identify, scope, and implement infrastructure changes and automation through Agile sprints to improve platform stability
- Coordinate cross-functionally with application, migration, observability, defense ops, and incident response teams
- Find gaps in operations documentation and collaborate to create useful operational guides
Requirements
- Active Secret Security Clearance or higher
- Security+ certification (allowed to complete during onboarding)
- Direct experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipeline automation
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, and DevSecOps principles
- Familiarity with ELK Stack or comparable monitoring tools
- OCI experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with other CI/CD and platform tools: GitLab Runners, Jenkins, Nexus, Rancher/RKE2
- Familiarity with ServiceNow and Jira
- Experience with tools such as SonarQube, Fortify, TestRail, ArgoCD, and Renovate
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or OCI)
- Scripting and automation skills
