DevOps Technical Lead

Role Overview

You’ll join 3Pillar as a DevOps Technical Lead, helping design and deliver software and infrastructure solutions with a strong focus on quality, performance, security, and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain client/server code that is efficient, performant, secure, testable, scalable, and high quality.
• Provide accurate status tracking, reporting, and estimation using project methods and tools.
• Gather and validate requirements with the team; create and maintain documentation.
• Execute work according to the current methodology and quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and managers to understand user pain points and iterate on solutions.
• Take ownership of projects from technical design through launch.

Requirements (Minimum)

• 5+ years of experience in at least one relevant technology stack (notably Go and/or Python).
• Strong Terraform and Ansible knowledge, including:
  • Terraform Provider and/or Ansible Collection knowledge
• Experience with Linux, networking, and virtualization tooling.
• Experience engineering medium-to-large scope systems.
• Familiarity with Agile.
• Proficiency with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience building backend applications at scale.
• English proficiency.

• Source control tools
• Understanding of SDLC
• Object-oriented programming concepts (inheritance, polymorphism, classes, instances, properties)
• Knowledge of HTTP and serialization formats like JSON/XML
• Knowledge of document databases
• Experience with unit testing
