About the role

Role Overview

Fetcherr is hiring a DevOps Team Leader to guide its growing DevOps team. You’ll combine hands-on DevOps expertise with leadership to ensure highly available, scalable, and automated infrastructure for evolving product and customer needs.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of DevOps engineers; foster ownership, excellence, and continuous improvement
Design, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for scalability, performance, and security
Oversee Kubernetes and Terraform in production to ensure high availability and efficient deployments
Drive automation across CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and infrastructure management
Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging (Prometheus, EFK, GCP Monitoring) for proactive incident detection and resolution
Collaborate with development, data, and product teams to deliver infrastructure aligned with product requirements
Establish and enforce Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards and ensure consistent adoption
Manage and improve internal tooling for infrastructure, deployments, and developer productivity
Evaluate emerging technologies and their impact on the platform

Requirements

6+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Software Configuration Management
2+ years leading/mentoring engineers in a team leadership role
Strong production experience with Kubernetes and Helm (writing/maintaining complex charts)
Proven expertise with Terraform and IaC principles
Proficiency in Bash, Python, and at least one additional scripting/programming language
Hands-on experience with GCP services and deployments
CI/CD pipeline experience (e.g., ArgoCD, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
Monitoring/alerting experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and GCP Monitoring
Strong problem-solving skills for production incidents
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration

Nice to Have

Experience with ArgoCD or Kubernetes operator development
Exposure to Big Data or ML Ops environments
Familiarity with Airflow, Kubeflow, or MLflow
DBA experience and strong SQL skills
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
