About the role
Role Overview
DevOps Team Lead (hands-on) Lead a DevOps team and drive the architecture and scaling of Blink Ops’ infrastructure, internal tooling, and CI/CD pipelines. You’ll collaborate with engineering and product to ensure reliability, scalability, and fast delivery across all environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a DevOps team in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Own cloud infrastructure architecture, implementation, and maintenance on AWS
- Evolve CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and monitoring systems
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of production environments
- Partner with developers to optimize delivery processes and improve velocity
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code practices (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi)
- Build internal tooling to support development, testing, and deployment at scale
Requirements
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- 5+ years as a DevOps Engineer
- At least 2 years in a leadership role
- Deep knowledge of AWS and cloud-native architecture
- Strong Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform, Pulumi)
- Expertise in CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI)
- Experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proven ability to build secure, reliable, scalable systems
- Monitoring/observability experience (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- Experience in a high-scale SaaS environment
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.)
