About the role
Role Overview
Join Selector Software as a DevOps/SRE to help ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of an AIOps platform. You’ll own parts of the software delivery lifecycle—from infrastructure provisioning to monitoring, incident response, and CI/CD best practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain platform infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
- Automate deployments and configuration management using tools such as GitOps and Kubernetes
- Set up and manage monitoring to proactively identify and troubleshoot performance issues
- Implement incident response procedures to resolve service disruptions quickly
- Partner with development to integrate and improve CI/CD pipelines
- Stay current with DevOps and AIOps trends and technologies
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to overall code quality
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant field
- Understanding of Kubernetes operations
- Experience with multi-node Kubernetes deployments on EKS, GKE, AKS, and RKE2
- Expertise with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef
- Proficiency in scripting with Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- In-depth knowledge of Linux
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
Nice-to-haves
- Experience applying GitOps workflows
- Familiarity with AIOps-specific tooling and practices
