DevOps Lead

Role Overview

DevOps Lead in Neural Earth’s Product Engineering organization, focused on the infrastructure, security, and reliability layer that underpins shipped product lines. You’ll work closely with the DevOps and platform team to keep deployment, observability, and cloud infrastructure running smoothly as the company scales.

Responsibilities

• Own steady-state reliability of infrastructure and platforms
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines to keep deployments fast and reliable
• Monitor AWS infrastructure, identify issues early, and resolve them before they impact customers
• Support incident response, triaging and helping resolve production issues
• Execute ongoing operational maintenance to remove friction for engineering teams
• Ramp into existing systems and tooling, gradually increasing ownership
• Collaborate with your manager while they focus on higher-value security and architecture initiatives

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code
• Comfortable operating AWS day-to-day (strong Azure or GCP experience is acceptable)
• Production experience with Docker and containerized infrastructure
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline operations and troubleshooting when pipelines break
• Comfort learning and working inside existing systems with clear, reliable communication during incidents
• Python experience for scripting and automation

Nice to Have

• Kubernetes experience (on roadmap)
• Use of AI coding agents (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) in your workflow
• Cybersecurity experience, including CMMC or ISO 27001/2 (bonus; not required)
