Devops lead

Role Overview

DevOps Lead (Remote) responsible for designing and operating cloud infrastructure and automated deployment pipelines for enterprise DevSecOps platforms.

Responsibilities

• Shape architecture and deployment strategies for cloud-based applications.
• Configure, optimize, document, and support infrastructure components within the IT Cloud Operations team.
• Design, build, and deliver cloud computing solutions, hosted services, and supporting software infrastructure.
• Collaborate with software product development, architecture, and IT teams to deliver releases using repeatable and auditable processes.
• Support and troubleshoot scalability, high availability, performance, monitoring, backup, and restores across environments.
• Modernize tenant applications as they move into cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Ensure overall system reliability, stability, and scalability through testing and operational support.
• Help manage infrastructure for enterprise DevSecOps platforms and contribute to DevOps-as-a-platform capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing and building cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• 4–6 years experience managing cloud-based services.
• 2–4 years with Git-based source control (GitHub/GitLab).
• 2–4 years with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
• 3–6 years with provisioning/configuration tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Helm).
• 2–4 years with Linux & Windows ecosystem; Docker on Kubernetes (Kubernetes/EKS/AKS).
• Automation experience with Groovy, Go, Bash, or Python.
• 4–6 years with AWS/Azure/GCP networking fundamentals (DNS, VPN, VPC, load balancers, proxies, etc.).
• 2–4 years with monitoring (Prometheus/Grafana, ELK, Datadog, CloudWatch/CloudTrail).
• 1–2 years with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
