Role Overview

DevOps Engineer at Wilcore Technologies in Stafford, VA. You’ll work with experienced DevOps engineers to build and document DevOps best practices for federal environments, with a focus on CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and modern data science/development environments.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with DevOps engineers to develop and implement DevOps best practices
Create and document CI/CD jobs and pipelines
Build infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., CloudFormation)
Help define and build a modern data science/development environment

Requirements

Experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines
Infrastructure-as-code experience with AWS CloudFormation and Terraform
Proficiency managing AWS environments including ECS, S3, Lambda, RDS
Linux systems support
Strong background with Docker and container orchestration (debugging and optimization)
Familiarity with data science platforms such as SageMaker, DataZone, and Athena
Familiarity with Python and Go
Detail-oriented, collaborative mindset
Experience working in Agile development teams
Authorized to work in the United States; may require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance
Bachelor’s degree
