About the role

Role Overview

Join VRIZE as a DevOps Engineer supporting an enterprise e-commerce environment. You’ll design, implement, and maintain infrastructure and tooling that helps development teams build, deploy, and operate applications efficiently and securely.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, implement, and manage IaC using Terraform.
Cloud Reliability & Security: Ensure security, availability, and performance of cloud infrastructure.
Collaborate with Engineering: Work with development teams to ensure smooth service deployment and operations.
CI/CD Automation: Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor performance and troubleshoot production issues.
DevOps Documentation: Develop and maintain documentation for DevOps processes and procedures.
Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
Architecture Reviews: Participate in architecture and design reviews to follow best practices.
Continuous Improvements: Identify improvements to increase scalability, reliability, and efficiency.

Required Qualifications

4+ years experience in software development and DevOps/operations.
Strong AWS cloud experience.
Proficiency with Terraform (IaC).
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with ArgoCD.
Strong understanding of security best practices and security tools.
Monitoring/logging experience with tools such as Splunk, New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack.
Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to estimate cost and effort for technical features.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting e-commerce platforms.
Familiarity with managed cloud services and serverless architectures.
Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
