DevOps Engineer, Trading Technology

Role Overview

Binance is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer / DevOps Architect to strengthen infrastructure and configuration management capabilities. You will design and maintain large-scale, mission-critical systems, improve deployment processes, enhance observability, and support system migrations with Development and QA teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage tools to automate operational activities and improve engineering productivity
• Automate continuous delivery processes and implement on-demand capacity management solutions
• Design and implement configuration and infrastructure solutions for internal deployments
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software/system issues
• Track and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
• Recommend architectural enhancements and propose process improvements
• Evaluate new technologies and vendor products aligned to business objectives
• Improve security for critical systems using best-in-class practices
• Enhance deployment scalability/resilience and system observability; proactively mitigate potential production issues

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical experience in a similar role supporting large-scale production systems
• Familiarity with AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Strong understanding of Linux-based environments
• Proven experience in large-scale distributed systems
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or a comparable language
• Proficiency with Docker, Ansible, Terraform and similar tooling

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kafka and Elasticsearch

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, or related)
