About the role

Role Overview

TechnoMile is hiring a DevOps Engineer (Hybrid with remote options). You’ll architect, implement, and maintain cloud and container infrastructure, with a focus on CI/CD, Kubernetes, automation, scalability, reliability, and security.

Responsibilities

Optimize system and infrastructure performance for scalability and reliability
Document architecture, processes, and operational workflows
Design and manage Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, including shared libraries
Automate workflows using Python, Bash, and Groovy scripts
Manage and optimize Docker images/containers and Dockerfiles
Deploy and operate Kubernetes clusters and Helm charts
Implement and monitor CI/CD pipelines for efficiency and reliability
Use Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and/or CloudFormation
Administer and optimize AWS and Azure environments (incl. autoscaling and cost/resource optimization)
Conduct security audits, vulnerability assessments, and enforce access controls
Perform security and performance tuning of cloud infrastructure
Lead automation of repetitive tasks and processes; partner with cross-functional teams
Mentor junior team members and support continuous improvement

Requirements

5+ years experience as a DevOps Engineer (or similar), with leadership responsibilities
Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
Scripting expertise in Python, Bash, and Groovy
Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, and cloud resource management
Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, and Infrastructure as Code
CI/CD and monitoring/optimization experience
Strong understanding of security protocols, audits, and access controls
Excellent communication and leadership skills
